Children's Hospital in Khabarovsk was a gift from the insurance group URALSIB

December 11, 2009 at Children's City Hospital № 9 Khabarovsk opens sensory room to work with young patients with motor disorders and particularly in development. Funds for equipment rooms with special equipment were allocated insurance group URALSIB as individual support.

A combination of different sensory stimuli room - the colors, smells, tactile sensations, music - has a soothing, toning and regenerating effect on the emotional state of the child, develops a general and fine motor skills, and corrects the higher cortical functions and musculo-skeletal system.

Acquisition of equipment, according to Olga Putilin, chief doctor of the hospital opens new possibilities to help children with peculiarities in development and allows experts to improve the Center's early intervention and rehabilitation activities. "Through studies in the sensory room, our little patients with severe impairments in the development will enrich the range of sensations, extending the boundaries in the perception of the world. This will help normalize the life of each particular child, will improve the quality of life" - she pointed out.
